One, or possibly two, of our anonymous commenters is complaining of censorship. We declined to publish two comments recently because we believed they crossed the line in terms of rudeness. Comments expressing any positions on the issues will be published; personal abuse will not. (In a moment of frustration, one of the editors of this blog posted a comment which another editor judiciously removed on the same grounds.)

As long as the general public that reads this blog is aware that YOU DO BELIEVE IN CENSORSHIP... whether it's under the guise of personal attacks or "rudeness", it's still really about censoring anothers conflicting opinion.
I guess I feel mislead here - what other comments have been censored since this site began? I mean it's good to hear that the editors have at least admitted this (after the negotiated settlement was announced) - but one sincerely must ask - were the editors of this site practicing censorship all along?
Very disappointing indeed.
The editors didn't feel the need to censor this...

... reeks of rudeness and personal abuse - but you hate Doug Bailey - so you didn't feel the need to censor this comment.
Get real kids.
Mr. Bailey -
you are right, that is very rude, and i apologize for saying it. i don't have an answer for why they didn't censor it, but for my part i'm sorry.
anonymous,
the mere fact that the editors have published all of your ramblings tell me that you must have been truly offensive if they didn't post your comment. if you really feel strongly about your point, i suggest you go to the uniccotruth blog and post it there...
... actually, i don't think they even allow posts... never mind. i'm sure the herald will publish your piece.

What about Ed Anser - must just be a fluke...
oranguteena,
I don't know if Doug Bailey reads this blog or not (it's a pretty safe bet that it's a bit too simple to keep his interest - the conflict between reality and unionism is a predictable path). But if you sincerely feel the need to apoligise - send him a letter... not sure why you'd do it here in response to my post (which is to demonstrate an entirely different issue)...
When you leave a comment, this is what you read at the top of the page: "Your comment has been saved and will be visible after blog owner approval." So there's been no false advertising.
